From Northern New Jersey:
Easy way; Take the NJ Turnpike south to exit 120, toward the end
of the ramp, make a left toward Laurence Harbor. In one and a half
miles, you cross Route 35. The water is right in front of you.
Harder way; Take the NJ Tpke South to Exit 11. Stay to the right
past the toll and aim for Routes 35 & 9 South. Cross the Raritan
River on Route 35 & 9 South. Say on Route 35 South when Route
9 South splits off. Continue on Route 35 for 2 miles or so. Go through
four lights (including the one for the drawbridge), passing two
clubs across the street from each other, Abyss and Deko. At the
fifth light, make a right to make the jug handle u-turn, crossing
Route 35.The water is directly in front of you.
From Garden State Parkway South:
Take exit 120. Make a left at the end of the exit ramp. Go straight
and cross over Route 35 about 1-1/2 miles.
